MARGARET TAKYI-MICAH

Margaret is a Business and Client Success Strategist, African Women’s Wealth Advocate, and Leadership Coach and Consultant. Margaret’s experience across industries has earned her a “Queen of Customer Service” status.

She holds an MBA from Henley Business School UK and a degree in English with Linguistics from the University of Ghana, Legon. She was awarded the title of Distinguished Alumni by the department of Linguistics on its 50th anniversary, and was a member of the Advisory Board of the College of Humanities University of Ghana, Legon.

For the past 20 years, Margaret Takyi-Micah has been on a customer service mission, developing and implementing a customer service culture in organizations.

She is a seasoned Client Success Strategist and continues to help businesses improve their customer success through strategy formulation, implementation, and training. She has been training senior executives and leaders across a range of industries for over 10 years.

She was awarded the Customer Service Excellence ICON of the Year for 2020 by the Women in Banking and Finance Awards and is the patron of the Customer Experience Professionals Association, inaugurated on 8th October 2021.

She is the author of “Better Service, Greater Profit Book -How to Implement a Customer Service Strategy” for Executives committed to applying customer service as a differentiating strategy in their industries such as financial services, health care, retail, manufacturing, and more.

An accomplished World Economic Forum speaker, Margaret presented to an executive audience at the Health Care Leadership Forum in Ghana. Says the W.E.A, “One of the largest challenges faced by the leaders of the health sector is to improve the level of service to patients. With this in mind, Ms. Takyi-Micah presented a case study on Barclays’ customer service initiative, tying together the challenges that both the private and public sectors experience in meeting the demands of the customer.”

Aside from her consulting, speaking, coaching, and writing, Margaret is also frequently featured on the Multimedia Group platforms; Joy FM and Multi TV. On Joy FM Cosmopolitan Mix, she provides Customer Experience tips that have captured the attention of discerning listeners, for over 4 years. She has also been featured on GTV and e-GTV.
